According to Food Allergy Research and Education, an estimated 32 million people have food allergies.
1 in 10 adults; 1 in 13 children
Severe signs of an allergic reaction:
- Trouble breathing
- Swelling of tongue or throat
Usually less severe signs:
- Upset stomach
Allergen Testing: Many companies offer IGG and IGE food allergen tests. Consult your doctor for more information.
Elimination Diet: Consult your doctor for the best elimination diet for you. Eliminating processed foods, non-organic foods and known inflammatories like dairy and gluten are a good way to start.
