Sound too good to be true? It’s not. Here are some common questions people ask Dr. Tuttle about these safe, non-surgical, in-office treatments that can improve your sex life.

The O-Shot for Women: General Information

The O-Shot can improve urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness, sexual dysfunction, painful intercourse, and help you achieve orgasm.

How does the O-Shot Work?

We draw one tube of blood, put it in a centrifuge, harvest the plasma enriched growth factors, and then inject the platelet rich plasma (PRP) into your clitoral and vaginal areas to stimulate new tissue growth.

How many injections? And where?

There is one injection in the interior wall of the vagina and one in the clitoris.

Does the O-Shot hurt?

A topical cream anesthetic is applied prior to receiving the treatment, so there is only minimal discomfort at the time of injection and no pain afterwards.

How long does the treatment take?

A usual office visit is no more than one hour.

Is there any recovery time?

No. There are no restrictions to activity or sex.

How soon will I get results?

If you suffer from incontinence, you’ll see improvement in holding urine right away. For sexual improvement, some women can tell a difference immediately, but the growth factors really start to kick in after about two weeks, and peak at three to four months.

How long does the O-Shot last?

Longevity varies per person and can last up to two years.

How much does the O-Shot cost?

Each treatment is $1250.

Do you follow up after the treatment?

Yes. Dr. Tuttle will call you six weeks after you receive the O-Shot for a follow up to find out how you feel and repeat the initial questionnaire to measure your improvement.

Do improvements get better the more you do it?

With each ongoing treatment, you may continue to see improvement beyond what you experienced with the initial treatment.

Will I still need to use lubrication?

Depending on the severity of your vaginal dryness you may still need a little help, but many women find they don’t need additional lubrication for sex.

Do you have to be a certain age to get the O-Shot?

There are no age restrictions. In fact, many younger women want treatment because they’ve never achieved an orgasm. In addition, women who’ve lost tightness because of several vaginal deliveries get the O-Shot to improve and tighten their vaginal tissue (husbands love this too!).

Why do women experience a reduction in sex drive?

Hormones change as we get older, resulting in vaginal dryness and thinner vaginal walls, and having sex can actually become painful for some women. You may still want to have sex, because you’re attracted to your mate, but it’s just too unpleasant.

Low libido can happen to younger women too due to a lack of time, fatigue and stress, and no private time with your husband or boyfriend because the kids are always around. After a while you just lose interest in sex because it’s been so long since you’ve had it.

Does menopause lower libido?

Yes. During menopause women lose estrogen and testosterone and 50% to 70% of women experience a reduction in their sex drive.

Why do I pee a little when I laugh or cough?

There are two types of incontinence: stress incontinence and urge incontinence and the O-Shot can help with both. Stress incontinence can be caused by the uterus pushing down on the bladder, weakened pelvic muscles and/or weakened sphincter muscles. Urge incontinence can occur when in bladder contracts so strongly it overrides the sphincter.

As women age, or after a woman has had babies, the tissue around the urethra weakens, making it more difficult to hold urine. The O-Shot helps by rejuvenating the tissue around the urethra so you have more control of your sphincter muscles.

The P-Shot for Men: General Information.

The P-Shot can improve sexual performance in men and increase penis size without surgery or drugs.

How does the P-Shot work?

We draw a tube of blood, put it in a centrifuge, harvest the plasma enriched growth factors, and then inject the platelet rich plasma (PRP) into your penis to stimulate new tissue growth.

How many injections? And where?

There are five injections, four in the penis and one in the glans to help with sensitivity.

Does the P-Shot hurt?

A topical cream anesthetic is applied prior to receiving the treatment, so there is only minimal discomfort at the time of injection and no pain afterwards.

How long does the treatment take?

A usual office visit is no more than one hour.

Is there any recovery time?

No. There are no restrictions to activity and you can have sex that same day.

How soon will I get results?

The growth factors really start to kick in after about two weeks and peak at three to four months.

How long does the P-Shot last?

Longevity varies per person and can last up to two years. Most men want to come back sooner than necessary because they’re so happy with the results, but we recommend waiting at least three months between treatments since you may still be seeing improvements until then.

How much does the P-Shot cost?

Each treatment is $1950.

Do you follow up after the treatment?

Yes. Dr. Tuttle will call you six weeks after you receive the P-Shot for a follow up to repeat the initial questionnaire to measure your improvement.

Do improvements get better the more you do it?

With the P-Shot, many men experience added penis length and girth, which can be retained with ongoing treatments. Essentially, the P-Shot “turns back the clock” on aging tissue but it can’t make it stop. This means as you age, your tissue continues to age as well.

Will I still need to use Viagra or Cialis?

It’s up to you. The P-Shot can increase spontaneity for sex and some men find they don’t need any pills. Others choose to combine the P-Shot with Viagra or Cialis for extra oomph.

Do you have to be a certain age to get the P-Shot?

There are no age restrictions. In fact, many younger men without erectile dysfunction get the P-Shot to add length and girth.
